Enjoy brass music at its best during the ninth edition of the Brassweek. From Tuesday until Thursday, the newly learned and perfected pieces are performed at solo concerts. Brassweek also stands for numerous top-class concerts performed each night by renowned professors of the international brass scene. During the day, they teach motivated students, while at night, you can see and hear them performing solo or with ensembles. Let them inspire and surprise you. You might even hear the sounds of numerous brass instruments when you are by a mountain lake or on an alp. Enjoy the open-air concert. We are looking forward to this great adventure and to welcoming the audience to the town square or to one of our evening concerts.
Are you one of the 80 talented musicians from around the world who would like to join the master class for brass musicians at the Academia Engiadina in Samedan, located at 1700 m a. s. l.? Join the workshops that are lead by world-class brass music professors. You will be taught the art of interpreting classical and modern music. The unique environment, in which you practice and experience music, makes for an unforgettable experience. The Samedan Brassweek is the only event that allows you to get music practice before the backdrop of imposing mountains or on an alp.
